Mission Accomplished: Rowing for Urology

The Atlantic Seamen are four Cornish-based, middle aged men who had one enormous ambition. Together they aspired to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean. Exposed to the full force of the Atlantic; scorching sun, saltwater sores, sharks and passing tankers with only a 28-foot ocean rowing boat in which to take refuge. A challenge like no other……

On 24 January 2019, they arrived in Antigua after rowing for 43 days across the Atlantic Ocean from La Gomera, in the Canary Islands.

With varied backgrounds but a common interest in adventure, the Atlantic Seamen took on this challenge to raise awareness of urology disease. They have also been raising money for The Urology Foundation, so if you wish to donate to them following their incredible achievement, you can do so here
